LOGOFF

Terminates a session.


Syntax

LOGOFF /?

LOGOFF [session_name | session_id] [/SERVER:server_name] [/V]


Parameters
session_id (NTXP)
The ID of the session.
session_name (NTXP)
The name of the session.

Switches
/? (NTXP)
Displays help.
/SERVER:server_name (NTXP)
Specifies the Terminal server containing the user session to log off (default is current).
/V (NTXP)
Displays information about the actions performed.

ECHO - Display message on screen.
DATE /T - Display or set the date.
TOUCH - Change file timestamps.
Equivalent Linux BASH commands:
echo - Display message on screen.
select - Accept keyboard input.


Notes

The date is stored in the US mm/dd/yy format.

    LOGTIME "begin import program"
    import.exe
    LOGTIME "end import program"

An alternative command is:

    ECHO. | DATE | FIND /I "current">>C:\Install_log.txt
