Add a fixed delay to a batch file.


Syntax

SLEEP time


Parameters
time (NT4)
The number of seconds to pause.

Related

TIMEOUT - Delay that allows the user to continue.
WAIT - the same as sleep but with noises.
Equivalent Linux BASH commands:
crontab - Schedule a command to run at a later time.

To pause for an hour before running the next command in a batch file:

    SLEEP 3600
